

Desiree Spivey
"Spivey"
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan on August 4, 1985. Desiree graduated from Frank Cody High School as a Multisport Athlete with Honors in 2003. She excelled at Basketball, Track, Volleyball, and Soft Ball. She went on to Siena Heights University on scholarship playing Varsity Basketball. Her talents and leadership earned her the important role as Captain and Defensive Player Awards from 2003-2007. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts in 2008. After college she started a career at Stellantis working as a Hi Lo Driver.
Growing up driven to excel in all sports she played, Desiree decided to start what she didn't know would soon become her new passion, playing Women’s Tackle Football in 2016. She has played in the Women's Football Alliance for the Detroit Dark Angels, Thee Toledo Reign, in the WNFC for La Muerte De Las Cruces, Denver Bandits, Kansas City Glory, Detroit Prowl and an All Star for American Football Events USA playing both running back and linebacker. Her talent, enthusiasm and love for the game soon became apparent.
Over the years her notable achievements have been 3x WNFC ALL Pro 2021,2022 & 2024, 2x WFA All Star 2017 & 2018, Hall of Fame All Star 2018, 2018-2023 AFE Team USA All Star, 2018-2022 AFE Team USA World Champions, and 2023 USWFL Champion with the Detroit Prowl. Throught her career she has worked hard on her physical strength, speed, and versatility on the field. She plays with tremendous confidence, strong work ethic, great vision, and skill that makes her a feared opponent and a great leader.
